ReliantCare Transit RI is organized to provide safe, reliable, and affordable transportation for seniors and adults with disabilities throughout Rhode Island. The company’s purpose includes offering non-emergency medical and personal mobility services such as transportation to healthcare appointments, community programs, and essential errands.

ReliantCare Transit RI may enter into contracts, sponsorships, or funding partnerships with hospitals, nursing homes, community centers, and other agencies to deliver ride-voucher programs and coordinated transportation for their clients. The company may also provide private-pay services for individuals seeking personal or medical transport within the state.

Founder/President

Melissa founded ReliantCare RI from personal experience and thoughtfulness. After providing home care and transportation for her aunt, who lives with dementia and Parkinson’s disease, she witnessed firsthand how difficult it can be for families to find safe, reliable, and understanding transportation for their loved ones. What began as a family responsibility grew into a calling — to make quality care and accessible mobility available to others across Rhode Island. Every ride we provide carries that same sense of kindness, patience, and respect that she wants for her own family.
